TED is a nonprofit devoted to “ideas worth spreading.” What began as a four-day conference has grown into multiple initiatives where new TED Talks are posted daily on TED.com. Programs include TED Translators, TED-Ed, The Audacious Project, and TED Fellows.

x = independently organized event. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED created the TEDx program: local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
These local events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).
TEDxEHTP is an independently organized TEDx event hosted at École Hassania des Travaux Publics (EHTP), Casablanca. Curated and produced by a volunteer student team, TEDxEHTP brings together engineers, researchers, entrepreneurs and artists from EHTP and beyond to share ideas that matter.
